Why “Believing In God” Is Not Beneficial For Your Soul

I am going to say another controversial thing here… and I am speaking at the “psychological” level… not a “theological” or “religious” one. So put your Bible away, and listen with your heart to what I am trying to convey here.

The learned or acquired practice of “believing in God” does not actually help your Soul (Psyche) develop and mature. For the Soul to mature in consciousness, it has to be allowed to exercise independence (sovereignty) - that means “no dependence on God”.
This is why it is so vital to “gnosis” (know-this) your Self as “I AM THAT I AM”, in order to have the permission to expand beyond your limited human identity and non-awareness.

Dependence is a thing we learn as HUMANS, it’s how we enter the world… dependent on parents. But when the Soul awakens to a greater essence than mere “human identity”, we graduate the “dependence” program.

Within religion there is no “graduation”, and people remain “dependent” humans… and carry the infancy programming and transfer it onto God, with God becoming the parent. The Soul does not grow up in that setting. You can find several passages in the Bible where Paul is lamenting about “I wish I could feed you meat, but you are babes that need milk”.

The problem is that we mistook a psychological book and turned it into a religious text.
